Précision_sur la representation :	La composition est couronnée par une arcature sommée de quelques architectures ; en bas, le sol répète les courbes de l'arcature ; au centre, la croix est écotée et ornée à la croisée du nimbe crucifère ; Joseph d'Arimathie reçoit dans ses bras le corps du Christ couronné tandis que Nicodème décloue les pieds à l'aide d'une tenaille ; à gauche la Vierge tient le bras de son fils ; derrière Nicodème, saint Jean barbu apporte le linceul ; à l'extrême droite, les trois saintes femmes et un homme barbu coiffé d'un bonnet se serrent les uns contre les autres en fixant la scène ; deux anges tenant des encensoirs volent au-dessus des bras de la croix ; les étoffes sont réparties suivant des drapés moulants et curvilignes.
